About Moonlight Inspirations

Hello and thank you very much for visiting us on the web! My name is Janet Morningstar and I am the designer behind Moonlight Inspirations. Moonlight Inspirations began not too long ago, 2006 to be exact. After years of running a successful online needlework and craft business, I made the difficult decision of shutting down. 16-18 hour days were not uncommon and the workload was taking its toll.

I knew I needed a creative outlet. I had toyed with the idea of designing cross stitch patterns for about one year before jumping into the fray and it has been such a fun and wonderful journey already - and we've only just begun!

My creativity seems to sparkle the most during the soft, surreal blanket of night. Everybody is asleep and, except for the occasional dog barking, silence and solitude caress my soul and open my mind. There is a window to the left of my design desk, about one foot away from where I am sitting now. The night sky knows nothing of the upsets and worries of the day - its only job - to hold the moon in place until the sun wakes up once again.

The moon watches me on these fateful nights. Its gentle light finds it way through my window and touches my left shoulder like a welcome friend - my inspiration.
